Some questions to ponder and respond to in the comment section:
  1. What do you want to make sure to remember about the video?
  2. What might you want to try in your classroom?
  3. Did it reaffirm any of your practices?

  1. I can't wait to use Gauge this way! We do Number Talks so my students should easily be able to scribe another student's thinking. I love the immediate feedback and the option for the students to do a showdown. Thanks so much for sharing!

  3. I did this with Module 9 and the students really enjoyed it. The math talk I heard among the pairs really showed that they can verbalize their thinking.

  4. What a great idea! I have not used Gauge this year, but think this would be a great way to review for our next module assessment. I love how this practice gets the kids to verbalize their thinking, a tough skill for many students! This is a fun way to mix up a review of skills and I know my students would enjoy it!
